Reno, Nevada copies NCSU wolf mascot logo!

In the News & Observer newspaper, an article about this copyright lawsuit about a college in Reno, Nevada using a similar wolf as their school's logo. In this case, it is NC State's wolf used with a tophat instead of the NCSU cap. Their team is called the 'wolf pack' with 2 words and NC State is one word, the wolfpack.

Well, that's lame. Get your own wolf design Reno.

Dolce & Gabbana 4018: my new obsession

this is what i fucking want.

the Dolce & Gabbana 4018 sunglasses.

it's so hot. i love it. and with it's interesting shape and design, it's perfect for me and i can definitely pull it off, unlike typical ppl.

i compiled these photos from the Dolce & Gabbana website, since the ones on eBay weren't photographed well.. and my 1st choice is obviously at the top!

and i happened to fall in love with it after i tried them out at the Dolce & Gabbana store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. believe me, they're sooo much better with the Swarovski crystals on the D and G. especially the brown frames. i wonder if they have a Swarovski style for each of the frames..

it's like priced between $200-$250, but costs a lot more with the Swarovski frames. (which is why my Chanel 5085-b's are wayyyy expensive and RARE too!!! they're finally DISCONTINUED!!! .. you can't find something like mine anywhere. and if you're lucky, you manage to see someone wearing it. but i doubt it.)

Ok.. Well, not yet.. But for the 2nd summer phase, we are unvieling a new syrup: Juicy Raspberry!

Its not available in starbucks stores till June 15th I think..

Overworked and no time for Myspace..

i'm a bit scared to check my myspace account. i haven't logged into it since before i left for my trip to North Carolina. i actually tried to resist being actually 'online' during my trip. i didn't want to do my online summer classes & homework. i didn't want to do myspace. i didn't want to do anything other than fiddle around my Treo phone and post blog entries. that's about it. haha.

i do want to go on myspace. but if i do, i'd have to devote a couple of hours to respond to everyone and accept the friend requests. i'm guessing i'll have more than 13 pages of friend requests (which was the amount the last time i was gone for a week).. and about 6 pages of messages.

oh shit, i feel lightheaded as i type this. i just finished watching some video lectures from my philosophy class and realized i have to re-read about 42 pages from my textbook and like 65 pages of an PDF article again because in order to do a good job on the quiz, i have to know what im being tested on. LOL. so i guess you've guessed it, i've already forgotten what i've read.

im telling you, i have like a limited amount of space in my brain. i have like 60GB of brain storage. i gotta delete the old files to make room for more interesting ones. like porn. hahaha. im joking.

Calculus 2, Philosophy & a Math lab. those are the 3 classes i'm taking this summer. it fuckin' blows because i wish i WASN'T taking anything. i just want to relax and work at starbucks. to NOT have to wake up early just to do hw during the summer is desirable.

my feet hurt. i've spent the last few minutes during my philosophy 'class' rubbing the arch of my feet. i wish i had some foot massager from the Sharper Image or Brookstone. heh. or maybe a foot massager/spa thing from Bed Bath & Beyond. my mom has one. i should probably ask her if i can have it, if she doesnt use it. heh.

anyways. time for a calc 2 video lecture. i watch em thru dvds. recorded back in 2003. to teach a class without having to actually teach. it's genius! and i still pay tuition for doing this class. cheap lazy bastards. haha. but that's how college is.

damn calculus 2. i fucking hate you.

That traveling back to somewhere you don't like living in will cause psychological distress to your body and mind?

I think so.

I'm already coughing with a slightly runny nose. Maybe its from being in such a warm climate back to cold? Jeff has been sick at least 5x ever since we moved here. I've just finished a coughing spell that lasted for a little more than a month. And I don't EVER get sick.

Back to taking my summer classes online. With homework and tests to do & take. What a great way to return home.

No more shorts. What's the point when it's like 50°F outside. Just in my PJs all day.

No more dressing up in a different outfit everyday. Nothing much to do that I haven't already done, unless going out to eat. But we usually get takeout or i'll make mac & cheese at home.

Back to work at starbucks. I actually love working there. I'd rather be making lattes & frapps instead of doing homework. And dealing with crazy ppl who don't usually go to starbucks.

No more shopping. I went to 3 malls during my trip: Asheville mall, Southpark mall & Carolina Place mall. Each mall probably had at least 10x more stores than Eureka's Bayshore Mall. And that mall is half-empty. The 3 malls I went to probably had about 1 to 3 empty stores, each with a 'coming soon' sign. Nothing at bayshore mall. Some stores have been empty since i've moved here.

Ok. Enough for now. I'm tired and I want to sleep in my bed.

On the propeller plane. Stuck in a seat across the aisle from some dumbass woman who couldn't even retract the luggage handle (during the shuttle ride). She even broke it. Idiot. It looked like a monkey trying to put a square in a circular hole. Ehh. Time for my iPod with the volume to the MAX. I can't listen to the stupid chitter chatter of this woman and her company.

I love this city. But its just depressing to return to "abnormal" in north cali. I'm still dressed in my shorts and flipflops, and its currently 55°F in SF.

I'm going to miss the warm weather. :(

I'm sporting a nice tan from laying & boogieboarding under the sun for 3 hours in Sunset Beach in NC. I wonder if ppl around town will ask how I got a few shades darker. Hmm..

Now we're waiting for my next flight. 2 more hours for a hour or so flight on a smaller propeller plane. Back to Arcata airport and the rest of Humboldt County. Oh joy.

A&F and Crabtree Mall

I miss it here. I really do. I'd quit my well paying jobs just to work here again. Seriously. I don't care about the minimum-wage amount every hour I danced and folded while working there.. lol

Marisa Cooper played by Mischa Barton on The OC once said in an episode about being in the mall how "all of life's problems can be solved here" with the right nail polish or shirt from Abercrombie & Fitch.. Hehe. That's how I feel.

Junk in the trunk

For the past 6 hours, I've been sorting and organizing my stuff that I've left behind when I left for California. These were things that I had in my apartment at the College Inn at NC State. They were left behind with Jeff's parents at some storage place. I had a bunch of clothes that I used to wear, I didn't want to bring them with me. I only wanted a few that I could probably customize or re-design. The ones that I didn't want, I put em in a box for the next yard sale that Jeff's mom sets up in the future. $5 for miscellaneous shirts. $10 for nice (expensive stuff I bought) shirts, bottoms & sweaters. Also there were a bunch of crap I just needed to get rid of.

I really need to start an ebay account and sell my shit. Wheter it's my used crap or stuff I've made. Idk when I'll do that. Like I have the time.. Hahahaha..

Outback Steakhouse on Capital Blvd!

Ahh.. I had dinner last night at my old outback I used to work at. I was greeted at the door by my old boss, Amy, I think she recognized me.. Anyways.. I saw a lot of new ppl that was working there. I only saw a few that I used to work with last summer, and a few of them recognized me instantly. I'm guessing there are many that were off that night.. Lol it was great. I miss working there. I used to work in Curbside Take-away. The tips and the interesting ppl I had to take orders from.. Lol. Can you believe restaurant servers in North Carolina make $2.13/hr plus their tips? That's what I was making. Wow. And when I started working in California, servers get minimum wage AND tips. Omfgwtf. Yeah, ppl I've told this to in NC were a bit shocked.

Myrtle Beach during 'senior week'

Myrtle Beach was having its Senior Beach Week. Ocean Blvd was packed with teens. I love it.

Sunset Beach!

It was cloudy and a bit rainy.. But that didn't stop me from jumpin in the ocean. I went boogie boarding, but I didn't catch a wave tho :( I didn't want to risk being caught in a riptide..

Stayin at a gated resort community called Brunswick. And also having a Snowball! Its a cup of shaved ice with ice cream and syrup. I had Birthday Cake ice cream and Cotton Candy syrup. OMG it was SOoOOo goooood.

Now we're off to Sunset Beach to lay on the sand and swim in the ocean. I gotta be careful of the riptides tho..

Mike & Mark at The Evening Muse

Woohoo! Jeff & I went and saw jeff's favorite band in Charlotte. It was another great show. We sat at the front row to the left. The woman sitting behind me kept fuckin' rocking the bottom of my chair with her feet. I'm like taking pics with the camera and then all of a sudden my chair shakes. I had to scootch up my chair away from her and turned my head towards her. She stopped soon after. Stupid bitch.
